About Casa Leta
Bill and April Miton (that’s us!) have been living in Nuevo Vallarta since 2006 after more than 40 Years in Chilliwack British Columbia. We have four beautiful children and three amazing grandchildren.
While living in Canada we stayed very busy in the pool business, sold commercial cleaning supplies, and cared for special needs children for more than 15 years.
We were involved in many organizations helping families in our own country as well as other countries including Belarus. We were very proud and honored when we received a Paul Harris Fellow award for our time spent volunteering.
We fell in love with Vallarta during a 2005 vacation and moved family and the pets in November of 2006. After all these years living here full time, we still put both feet on the ground every morning so thankful for our decision to live here.
It has always been our hope to open a business where we could share our love for Mexico with others and provide a quality destination for folks to stay. Now we can do just that.
Since moving to Mexico, we have become very involved in many of the programs here to help children and families in need. We are proud to be the directors of the Cleft Palate clinic where children can have surgeries at no charge. Doctors come to Vallarta from Guadalajara four times per year and volunteer all their time to our families. We also love helping individual families and communities when they are in need.
