In December 2020 my husband and I traveled to Puerto Vallarta for some major dental work, and Bill and April Miton of Casa Leta Suites came highly recommended to us. I reached out to them and from that moment on, everything was taken care of for us. From Bill fetching us from the airport to the grocery service to being driven to and from our endless dental appointments, stopping for our prescriptions and everything in between – our stay at Casa Leta set the bar impossibly high – any other accommodation or resort will be hard-pressed to even touch this experience.
Casa Leta itself is breathtaking and beautiful – to have a combination of feeling so at home with the added resort touches – concierge services, kayaking on the canal, on-site massage, even a small store with home cooked meals, toiletries, snacks .. there is not a single thing these amazing people have not thought of to offer their guests. We got to share pizza night (which will ruin pizza for you forever) with their daughter and grandchildren which made us feel so special – like one of their own. Walking distance to restaurants and a beautiful beach is a plus but to be honest – you won’t want to leave because everything you need is right there.
We especially appreciated the bellhop service offered by their little pup Frida, the evening stories reminisced to us by the on-site history buff – Fern the cat (I think Fern embellishes some of these stories to make herself look better, but we didn’t say anything), and of course Marley – we think she works security but seemed to nap a lot, but fortunately, Casa Leta is in a gated community so we still felt safe :-)
If you are looking to be treated like a long-lost treasured family member, welcomed from the moment you step foot out of the airport … to experience the most relaxing, stress-free retreat experience you could imagine, this is your stay. Bill and April – what a blessing you are not just to your guests but to the local lives you touch – your huge hearts and commitment to helping others by extending love, immeasurable generosity, and the gift of your time is a true testament to who you are. We went down for dental work and came home with changed hearts, restored hope in the kindness of humans, and feeling homesick for Casa Leta.
April & Bill’s home/hotel is the most welcome respite I’ve experienced in decades of travel. Could not be more thoughtful, caring and considerate for traveller’s at any stage of their journey. Whether weary, tending to injuries or ready to venture forth … a tranquil and beautiful surround. Muchas gracias very much!

Great holiday!! My husband and I just returned from a 2 week stay at Casa Leta Suites. It’s in a very quiet residential area yet close to some wonderful restaurants. Although it’s not on the beach it’s only a short walk away and everything you need for a day at the beach is provided. Our self contained suite had everything we needed and the common areas and grounds, including a beautiful pool were amazing. Our hosts go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay and they also provide little extras you won’t find anywhere else. We would highly recommend this property.
Peaceful and Relaxing Terrific place to relax and enjoy. Bill and April are excellent hosts. They helped us find great places to eat and visit. Pick up and drop off at the airport was prompt and easy. We had a good tour of the area while heading to the suites. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. We loved the pool, the two small dogs, and feeding the Iguanas some scraps. The windup Pizza night was awesome. Multiple choices of unique and delicious pizzas. Also a great opportunity to char to our hosts and the other guests.Bonus is they are very close to the hospital if you are looking for some surgery done at a lower cost and faster than in Canada.

A comfortable, relaxing getaway in a friendly atmosphere. Bill and April were wonderful hosts. It was a treat bringing picked up at the airport and loved the service of taking us to get our groceries for our two week stay.A bit if a walk to the beach but also very pleasant. A number of restaurants in walking distance. We enjoyed having the bikes to venture out to the Tuesday market and other restaurants. A very quiet, peaceful stay which is just what we were looking for. The pizza night was awesome!!!
Better than an all-inclusive Fabulous location. Close to great restaurants and the beach. April and Bill were wonderful hosts. They offer lots of ideas about what to do, best places to visit, and they also bring in a wonderful masseuse. We were happy to be treated to homemade pizza fresh from their pizza oven! Yummy. We will definitely stay there again.
Perfect getaway We had the best stay here. Bill and April are absolute angels. From helping us get to/from medical appointments, and markets and grocery store, we couldn't have felt more at home. The room was spacious and comfortable and all the amenities were right up our alley. The location was perfect, lots of restaurants within walking distance, delicious taco stands !! beach was about 15 min walk as well. Super quiet area. We plan to come back in the new year and there's no where else we'd rather stay. Ps. I miss frida
